Our K-4 and K-5 (Kindergarten) teachers are dedicated to each child's success as we prepare them to move forward into the rest of elementary school. Our experienced teachers have planned educational activities to help nurture each child in a safe environment, while they have fun learning both spiritually and socially. We teach that each child is God's special creation, and help them understand that they are individually loved by God, their family and our school. We teach respect, sharing, and faith in Jesus Christ.

In these classes, the children learn: 

• Learning the Pledge of Allegiance
• Learning nursery rhymes
• Recognizing alphabet
• Recognizing numbers 0-20
• Recognizing basic shapes
• Science-recognizing seasons, God's creation of the universe
• pre-reading
• pre-writing
• language development
• math concepts-value of coins, giving and saving, sorting, patterns, weight
• motor skills
• social, emotional and spiritual development
• Recognizing Holidays and observances

We offer an introduction into God's world and science, while teaching spiritual development and growth. All skills are taught using a developmental approach. There is also a separate Bible component combined with use of worship songs and movement.

Various field trips are incorporated throughout the school year. We also offer P.E. and Music classes as well as Christmas and Spring programs.

The student to teacher is 12:1 for K4 and 18:1 for K5 .

Our goal at Kingspoint is to educate the whole child by providing the spiritual, mental, physical and social aspects necessary for a well-rounded and successful education.
