Elementary

Elementary through 5th Grade is a safe, fun environment that encourages educational growth and experiences. We believe that our children are part of the most promising generation in the history of the world. Kingspoint intends to prepare them to be the leaders and contributors that are much needed in our country. Through mentoring and relational experiences with our teaching staff, we prepare students to be individuals of integrity and discipline. We shape in them qualities of integrity, service to others, while developing strong work ethics. By starting your child in elementary school at Kingspoint, he or she will be ideally positioned to find their highest potential academically, physically, and spiritually – all with a nurturing Christian environment

Our elementary school program consists of grades K4-6. Each is designed to lay the foundation for success. Based on our unique curriculum we utilize collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and a wealth of student experiences to grow, make new friends and learn the skills that will help them become future leaders

The K4 and K5 programs use ABeka curriculum that is strongly phonics based. It is an organized and direct approach to teaching reading, which systematically instructs in phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. We set this as the foundation of successful literacy in the following grades. Students’ progress to building words and then sentences.  Both K4 and K5 are all day programs.

Class Sizes

We intentionally preserve smaller class sizes to ensure individual attention for all our students. Our teachers provide the fundamentals for a successful academic career and make learning a joy. Students get the personal attention they need to succeed and grow.

Chapel

Spiritual education is enhanced through weekly chapels. The elementary students sing songs, pray as a group, and listen to speakers. Our teaching staff takes special joy in sharing.
