MISSION

It is the mission of Kingspoint Christian School to provide a Christ-centered education that encourages students to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and strive for the highest standards in moral character, academics, and service to others.

WHO WE SERVE

Kingspoint Christian School is an independent, non-denominational, non-profit school with students representing 35 different local congregations.  Our students come to us from the Tri-cities area of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland as well as outlying areas such as Connell.  Kingspoint serves students from age 4 in our all day, academic K4 program through high school graduation. We partner with parents in a close community where students, parents and teachers alike are involved in the learning process.

EDUCATIONAL BELIEF

At Kingspoint, we believe in:

  • A shared responsibility between students, parents, the school, and the Body of Christ.

  • A well-balanced and Christ-centered education which helps every child become a productive member of society.

  • That all students can learn and must be taught effectively according to their individual needs.

  • Committing to smaller class sizes to effectively provide each child special attention.

  • That valid assessment is critical for efficient teaching, learning, and accountability.

  • The development of skills and perspectives to encourage life-long learning.

  • A nurturing responsibility through consistent accountability, expectations, opportunities, and examples.

  • Providing a safe and caring environment, allowing for a maximum teaching and learning experience.

  • Competence in academic, interpersonal, and technological skills, increasing personal growth and opportunities in a highly connected world.

  • The importance of creative and fine arts that glorify God.

  • That our body is the temple of God and we therefore value physical fitness and health studies as it contributes to a healthy body and mind.
